Buffalo, NY Vacation

The boys and I took our first family vacation to Buffalo, NY! We had sooo much fun! We had the time of our lives! Our hearts were soo sad to leave after being there for 12 days! We tackled a lot of stuff, had an insane amount of fun, bonded with our NY family, but most importantly made memories that will last a lifetime!

I booked our first flight to leave at 530am...Not sure what I was thinking but these two were total champs and super excited to go on their first air plane ride! I ordered that "skateboard" piece and it helped out immensely!

Broc was a little freaked out and instantly started crying that he wanted to get off and go home.

but after a little while he warmed up to the idea.

During take off John yelled "We are all gonna die!" And Broc said more than a few times "we crash mommy" I later found out that crash meant land...which made more sense to me. We may have given a few other passengers some anxiety, but we all survived!

Window clings from the $1 section at Target...brilliant to entertain the boys when we were in the air!

Luckily we didn't have to switch planes on our lay over. So we were able to wander about the plane....and look where we ended up! I just asked the pilot if I could show the boys the cock pit and meet him and he let them sit down and touch all the gagets! So sweet and made their and my day! Thanks Southwest!

2nd flight Broc was able to sit in his own seat and John napped! Amazing

We made it!

I look a little tired and John got sick with a stomach bug. Poor guy had a rough first day but we just had some extra snuggles

enjoyed lunch and ice cream at a local farm!

swimming at Aunt Diane's pool

Day 3 I was on my own with the kiddos in the morning! We had such a fun chill morning!

Aunt Diane's back yard is amazing! A hot pool and a big pool for the kids!

yes we fit 5 of us in a queen air matress and twin bed! Loved all the giggles :)

Aunt Diane lived 2 houses away from my cousin's house. The kids walked over every day!

Broc watering the flowers with Aunt Diane

We took the kids out on the boat and jetski one day...it was little warm but we had tons of fun!

That night we headed to see Niagra Falls..one of the 7 wonders of the world and is literally 10 minutes away!

Naps all around!

Papa tried to get a picture with the boys..John was not cooperating.

So Gorgeous!

The American Falls...

The Fam minus JR. My Mom and My Gma Betty and Melissa

Watching the Firework Display from the Casino!

Happy 4th of July!

we went to a nearby town where they had a big 4th of July party at their local park. It was perfect!

"Merica"

Sending wishes to heaven!

Fireworks!

We got a night out on to go see The Band Perry! So much fun with my two beautiful cousins!

Kayla was such a little mom to Broc. It was adorable!

Getting loving from his Diane's!

Drive Inn Movie Night to see Finding Dory

Broc couldn't hang.

My Mom watched for me while I took John to Darien Lake Amusement Park for a day filled with riding rides and enjoying the water park!

Loved spending time with just him doing big kid things!

We were at the park almost the whole day! John hung in like such a trooper :)

Exhausted....

Ryan fit right in with my toe heads!

The last day we went and did a tour of the battle ships! Totally cool to walk around inside of them,

Last Night in Buffalo watching their minor league baseball team. My favorite part..hearing the boys chant "Let's Go Buffalo!'

Plane delayed...plus making us get on the plane and then back off it..super annoying. But we survived and made it home!

John had a hard time saying goodbye to everyone, and even starting crying before we left My Cousin Carissa and Ryan's house. I am usually the one who is crying so to see his sadness broke my heart even more.

To Our NY Family---thanks for having us, for loving us, for taking vacation to enjoy the days with us, for having patience with my Broc who said "poopy head" on repeat. Words can't come close to describing the fun we had but I hope you did to. We are lucky to have you and can't wait to come back next year. Broc is helping me save "monies" so he can go high in the sky to New York! John still talks about Kayl and Ryan daily as if they live two seconds away. They are even invited to his birthday party and he doesn't understand why they can't just fly in for it. We love you guys tons and tons and tons! Until next time
Love, Jess
