2013..The Year of 3

I can hardly believe yet another year has flown by but they say time flies when you're having fun! And that is what we have been doing!

So you may be thinking why is 2013 the year of the 3 well here are just a few examples...

 3 Major events happened in our life this year

   Mommy and Daddy got hitched!

   We got pregnant with your brother! 

    

    We bought our first home! 

All huge events that most people space out, but not us! We WENT BIG AND WENT HOME! 

This is our last year of being a family of 3

                I was really hoping that your brother would make his grand entrance in 2013 and make it one heck of year but with 7 hours left of this year, I am thinking he wants his own year. Which I don't blame him! Who wants to be wrapped up in a year with all the other big events :) Plus its more years for your daddy to remember! 

We have so many things to be thankful for this year! Today always brings a tear to my eye thinking about how fast you are growing up. But I'm not doing sappy this year so...

Here is a brief overview of our busy 2013! 

January..

We spent January wedding planning, playing in the snow and hanging at home!! 

February....

Creativity to keep you busy and out of trouble! We celebrated Mommy's 28th birthday this month! 

March...

Trips to the museums and helping Daddy were just a few of things that you enjoyed! 

April....

Mommy and Daddy left you to go to Vegas to get married! Hardest thing I have ever had to do but the few days away were just what we needed to appreciate our lives with you in it! We had a blessing at the church and a reception when we returned and of course you were apart of that! 

May...

We found out you were going to be a Big Brother! We enjoyed the nice weather and being able to get outside again! 

June..

Okoboji trips and watching the progress of our new house! 

July..

It may have been hot this month but we were able to enjoy the warm weather by going to the splash park, evening walks and hitting the park in the morning before it got too hot.

August..

August brought us moving into our new home!  It kept Mommy busy which left her picture taking on hold! We did manage to get your 2 year pictures in.

September...

A Labor Day Okoboji trip, celebrating your 2nd birthday and Daddys 29th bday and an early trip to the pumpkin patch so we can get decorations for the house were just a few things were managed to fit into this beautiful fall month

October...

A couple trips to Vala's pumpkin patch and celebrated Halloween! Oh and Mommy got brave and took you to one of her Baby Doctor Appointments! You rocked it of course. 

November

Uncle Joey's wedding, and Thanksgiving were two of the biggest highlights this month! 

December...

We started to enjoy fun little things this month. Trying to get all the fun stuff that we won't be able to do with a newborn in! And of course we enjoyed Christmas, which took a week to celebrate! 

Words can't describe how grateful I am for the many blessings we have been given this year. Life wouldn't be the same without you and I thank God everyday for making me your Mommy. My favorite part of the year was enjoying everyday with you in it! Days just seem more worth waking up for when I see the world through your eyes! So, here's to a fabulous 2014 and to many many many more blessings we will receive!
